Who You Are
The Senior Tax Associate position requires a steady, accurate, analytical worker who finds fulfillment in a job well done while working with clients in a courteous, professional manner. Required Experience and Skills
- Must have 3+ years of recent public accounting experience. Experience preparing partnership, corporate, individual, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, estates and non- profits.
- Assist with tax planning and prepare tax projections. Tax research and decision making.
- Prepare responses to IRS and state tax notices
- Bachelor's required
- Master’s preferred
- CPA or CPA eligible preferred but not required
- Ability to help with review of tax returns and can prepare more complex tax returns
- Assume responsibility for the completion of tax returns under the supervision of more experienced staff
- Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal skills
- Computer knowledge/Lacerte experience a plus
- Outstanding written and communication skills
- Comprehensive understanding of tax law
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Flexibility to take on bigger workloads during Tax season
