Role Overview:

The Senior Tax Analyst will play a crucial role in the finance team, bringing expertise in tax provisions and tax accounting to enhance financial strategies and compliance. This position offers a collaborative, hybrid work environment that values flexibility and work-life balance while pushing the boundaries of what is possible in tax analysis and accounting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and provisions, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize compliance.
  • Analyzing tax implications of business initiatives, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Providing expertise in tax accounting matters, including ASC 740/Fin 48 and its application to corporate tax provisions.
  • Leading and mentoring junior Tax Analysts, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex tax issues and provide tax planning and strategy support.
  • Demonstrating strong proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and tax calculations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in tax, with a strong understanding of tax provisions and tax accounting.
  • Experience with OneSource and Advanced Excel Skills. SAP experience a plus
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proactive in staying up-to-date with tax laws and regulations.
