We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a growing manufacturer in Wood Dale, IL. This is an onsite opportunity with hybrid schedules after the first 3 months!
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for hiring individuals for junior to senior-level leadership positions in both engineering and corporate departments. This role would be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and selecting qualified candidates who align with the company's growth objectives and cultural values. As the company is rapidly expanding this individual will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping and developing the organizational culture. This position requires a strong understanding of Talent Acquisition strategies, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders to ensure successful recruitment outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
- Determine selection criteria
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, virtual interviews, and in-person interviews.
- Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our ADP Applicant Tracking System
- Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements.
- Lead employer branding initiatives
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
- Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department.
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or other related field
- 5+ years in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment
- Experience with MS and HRIS software - ADP/Workforce Now
- Experience with ATS systems and resume database sources
- Experience working for a manufacturer is a plus
- Demonstrated experience using social media channels to enhance sourcing outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a productive member of a team

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
