We have an opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer to support our customer at Naval Air Station Fallon, NV. This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Due to the classified nature of this effort all work must be completed at the customer site. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
Responsibilities
Providing analyses and studies for requirements development, engineering feasibility, system affordability, reliability, maintainability, testability, systems integration, vulnerability, and susceptibility
Supporting and evaluating customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, and functional requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
BS in Electric or Mechanical engineering or related area of study.
Clearance Requirement:
An active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
Experience:
(5+ years) Practical experience in Systems Engineering associated with modeling and simulation within the training and training systems domains
(5+ years) Significant acquisition experience, with two 2 years in a DoD program directly supporting Training and/or Training Systems Acquisition
(5+ years) Recent experience with support engineering functions such as reliability, maintainability, EMI, logistics, program funding, statistics, facilities, cost estimating, risk analysis/assessment, and human factors
(5+ years) Experience with current and future military equipment, systems, and associated tactics (U.S., allied, and threat nations)
(5+ years) Experience with a wide range of non-engineering, non-scientific information in the form of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Military Standards, DON/DoD/NAVAIR policies, directives, and instructions and must be able to determine the applicability of these documents to assignments
