JOB DUTIES:
- Testing Skills: Instrument, CT, PT, and CPT transformer testing, including Power Transformer testing and cable testing.
- Relay Expertise: Test electro-mechanical and solid-state relays.
- Transfer Switch Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot automatic transfer switches and understand sequence of operation and diagrams.
- Complex Systems: Handle complex 83-control schemes and one-line diagrams.
- Safety Commitment: Adhere to electrical safety principles and procedures.
- Administrative Proficiency: Manage business systems, service orders, expenses, and timesheets.
- Safety Compliance: Satisfactorily complete internal safety audits and required training in Basic Electrical Safety, CPR/First Aid/AED, and Arc Flash/PPE.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong communication (written, verbal, presentations).
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED, preferred: associate degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience.
- Field Experience: Minimum 5 years in electrical testing.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Some travel, including overnight stays.
- Certifications: Prefer OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, and CPR/First Aid.
- NICET Certification: A plus, requirement to achieve levels 2 and 3 in the first year.
- Can read electrical schematics, interpret one-line diagrams, and use diagnostic equipment.
