Job Summary:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist. The Senior Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory, operations management, Supply Chain management, and analytical skills. The Senior Supply Chain Specialist will also be responsible for communicating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Reviews cost proposals and pricing information.
· Prepares and administers contracts and purchase orders with specific vendors.
· Compares bids from vendors and determines, or assists with determination, to whom contracts will be awarded.
· Evaluates vendor proposals to ensure that all requirements are met.
· Confirms that terms and delivery dates are accurate.
· Evaluates competence of vendors and reviews their invoices for accuracy.
· Maintains database regarding vendors’ performance and quality of product(s).
· Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
· Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
· Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with heavy MS Excel experience.
Education and Experience:
· A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience with procurement, sourcing and management required.
· Manufacturing Industry experience preferred.
· Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field is preferred; however, years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
