Position: Senior Supply Chain Manager

Reports to: Vice President Supply Chain

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing critical Supply Chain functions, including sourcing, local production planning, order fulfillment, distributor management, and overseeing local and international shipments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Supply Chain management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to seamlessly manage diverse responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sourcing Execution:
    • Lead the execution of ingredient and packaging sourcing for local co-manufacturers.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
    • Identify and onboard new suppliers to expand our sourcing options in collaboration with the R&D team.
    • Execute administrative tasks associated with the materials sourcing processes.
  2. Co-Manufacturing Management:
    • Oversee and optimizing co-manufacturing partnerships to ensure product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely production. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures with co-manufacturers in North America for a more efficient and smooth operations.
    • Develop and execute supply planning strategies to ensure the availability of ingredients and packaging needed for production.
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  3. Distributor Management & Order Fulfillment:
    • Act as the primary focal point for distributors, addressing their needs and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
    • Foster strong relationships with distributors to enhance collaboration and satisfaction.
    • Execute order fulfillment processes, including administrative tasks associated with order processing and tracking.
    • Implement efficient administrative procedures to streamline Supply Chain tasks.
  4. Logistics Oversight:
    • Manage international logistics, including customs clearance, documentation, and transportation, to facilitate efficient export and import processes.
    • Optimize local distribution networks and routes for efficiency and cost savings.
    • Ensure accurate and compliant documentation for all local and international shipments.
    • Collaborate with relevant teams to address any documentation discrepancies or issues.
  5. Inventory management / Cost Management / Performance Management:
    • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities throughout the Supply Chain.
    • Analyse cost structures and work to reduce expenses while maintaining product quality.
    • Regularly analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and finance, to align Supply Chain activities with overall business objectives.
    • Facilitate effective communication and coordination among different functional areas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in Supply Chain management with a focus order fulfillment and distributor management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
