ECI has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior Substation Automation & Integration Engineer. The successful candidate will develop data point maps, program data concentrators & other devices including network switch settings, develop logic diagrams, configure HMI's and perform technical reviews of drawings and device settings. Experience with DNP3, Modbus, and IEC-61850 protocols; SEL-RTAC and Human Machine Interfaces preferred, but not required.
A remote/hybrid work option would be considered for applicants that have extensive experience in the development of substation integration.
Minimum Requirements: 5+ years direct experience in the development of substation integration or combination of education and experience required; BSEE or MSEE preferred; P.E. preferred; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organization and planning skills; ability to work in a team environment; commitment to quality and accuracy; and a willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules. The successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving is required; therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements.
