What is the job about?  

 

In this role you will drive the planning of the work in the Water Utility Leadership team as well as for strategy deployment within the Water Utility Division. this position reports directly to the Sr Director Strategy & Transformation, WU and will operate on a hybrid schedule out of the Brookshire, Texas facility. Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support now or in the future.

 

Your main responsibilities include:  

  • Drive the planning of the work in the WU leadership team, incl. preparing annual wheel, setting meeting agendas, log actions and decisions, follow-up on actions etc. As part of this, participate in WU leadership team meetings to manage practicalities, log actions etc.
  • Drive/support the preparation of deliverables on behalf of the Water Utility division, incl. Business Review Meetings with Group Management, updates to the Board of Directors, town halls etc.
  • Drive/support Water Utility strategy deployment and follow-up process from planning through execution
  • Drive preparation of key meetings and touch points within the Water Utility division with regards to strategy (e.g. with the Extended Leadership Team) and support other relevant touch points with insight on strategy deployment (e.g. WU town halls)
  • Ad hoc support to strategic initiatives 

 

Your background 

We imagine that you have:   

 

A Master’s degree, likely in strategy, management, business, economics or similar field of study with 3-5 years of strategy/project experience.

 

  • Outstanding collaboration skills across organizational levels and cultures
  • Well structured and organized
  • Strong ability to communicate in writing, especially using PowerPoint
  • Solid project management experience
  • Used to working to deadlines
  • Able to handle many different projects and priorities at the same time

Please note that relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidate must have the authorization to work in the USA without support.
