JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Store Technologies Audio Visual Supportand Design Analyst will be installing, staging, configuring and supporting a wide selection of retail and network AV equipment including but not limited to Cameras, Amps, DVRs, speaker cabling. This position will require a dynamic person with good troubleshooting skills as well as customer service capabilities. The ideal candidate will be familiar with various retail and network technologies, equipment and capabilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide telephone/remote support for end users and technical resources for existing AV Systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot AV equipment failures and make minor adjustments to AV equipment and systems.
  • Provide support over the phone to technicians to troubleshoot onsite A/V issues
  • Develop documentation, level 1 troubleshooting guides and Support and field technicians on new and existing technologies to aid in the troubleshooting and resolution times for our customers
  • Support Integration of customer A/V products. Complete the configuration of customer products playing close attention to schedule and quality control.
  • Strong knowledge of signal flow, audio/video signal types, cabling, connector types and associated terminations procedures.
  • Provide training and mentoring to Help Desk and Service Agents
  • Provide solid recommendations and solutions for issues technicians or clients are facing.
  • Ability to research and recommend comparable models for end of life equipment.
  • Communicate status of issues with responsible parties and handle proper escalations when needed. Ability to own issues from identification through to resolution
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and document wide variety of technical issues.
  • Support of various telecom equipment and technology
  • Work closely with peers and cross functional teams to drive resolution while providing excellent customer service to all.
  • Clearly document work expected and completed by remote field resources.
  • Provides consultation, makes recommendations, gives appropriate advice, and/or facilitates decisions.
  • Speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to, and understand, information and ideas as presented verbally.
  • Ability to work during regularly scheduled and unscheduled evening and weekend hours to support ongoing implementation activities and remediation projects.
  • Other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years technical experience specializing in low voltage installation of Access Control, CCTV and Alarm monitoring systems in commercial buildings and construction related jobsites.
  • A/V systems: Crestron, AMX, Extron, or Lutron, Hubbell-Premise, Leviton, Bose, RDL, MuxLabs, Play Networks, Crown, Algo, Atlas
  • IP camera systems and digital video recorders (DVR’s)
  • Must be Customer Service focused and understand relationship building.
  • Speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to, and understand, information and ideas as presented verbally.
  • Ability to work in both team environments and as an individual contributor
  • Minimum 5 years computer service experience in a fast-paced business environment
  • Excellent Working Knowledge of Microsoft Business Applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Good understanding of technology concepts and Design, specific focus on store/remote architecture.
  • CompTia A+ and CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Excellent Knowledge of basic Networking.
  • Retail or Multi-Store environment experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent customer service skills and comfortable with remote/telephone support functions
  • Strong communications skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work in both team environments and as an individual contributor.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods at a keyboard to enter information and read displays.
  • Ability to work various shifts as needed for coverage
