I. JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Specialist, SAP Plant Maintenance provides broad SAP systems expertise, oversight, and administration to ensure departmental compliance. Responsible to assess and implement system level improvements and deliver on site objectives. Provide support to the other sites and global EFV initiatives as needed.

- Propose unique solutions and lead implementation to resolve complex issues of a diverse scope using technical expertise, creativity, and collaboration with others through independent thought, communication, and technical writing.
- Expert in the methods and techniques utilized for resolving issues and obtaining effective solutions independently
- Accountable for all SAP Plant Maintenance Module functions including:
- Master Data
- Creation/maintenance of blueprint for the functional location and structure
- Maintenance plan creation and update
- Maintenance BOM creation and update
- Task list creation and entry
- Master Data
- Creation and optimization of PM activities to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines, overall fixed asset health and reliability in cooperation with the Maintenance Planner and Technical team.
- Ensure business process reliability and efficiency.
- Lead work stream during SAP implementation projects both locally and globally.
- Provide support in regulatory agency inspections as required. (CDC, FDA, Health Canada, etc.)
- Develop training and train site SAP users and provide technical expertise as an SME to support site and global operations and EFV initiatives.
- Prepare complex documents, reports, and presentations with the ability to lead effective meetings.

III. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
- BS in Engineering, Science, Management, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a biopharmaceutical or related environment in an SAP administrative role, at least 5 years working in EFV support functions.
- Expertise in quality management system approaches, documentation, and requirements.
- Should have experience/knowledge of reliability/predictive maintenance and Statistical Process Control and the entire equipment lifecycle.
- Expert understanding of GMP, data integrity requirements, and ability to lead teams to develop effective and lean solutions.
- Strong track record of partnering with end users and quality, as well as external inspection agencies to improve our systems and processes and maintain high quality data.
- Project management skills are essential.
- Exceptional communications skills with all levels of the organization.
