Our Des Plaines, IL site has an opportunity for a Senior Specialist Project Management in its R&D Clinical Assay- PMO team

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• The Senior Specialist Project Management will manage one or more projects with moderate complexity.
• Expedite, manage, and coordinate a multitude of interrelated activities within constraints of limited human and financial resources and changing priorities. Complies with quality system.
• Recognize the broader implications of actions and proposals on the final project outcome
• Prepare and present project progress reports to keep management and team informed. Identify problems and work to resolve them.
• Analyze date for true causes of problems
• Coordinate input from multiple areas or multiple project managers on related projects.
• Develop project objectives and strategies, develop timelines and milestones. Utilize project scheduling software to plan
• and track projects. Develop design and development plan.
• Identify resource requirements, cost, and time schedules. Develop an implementation plan, conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to accommodate unforeseen events.
• Translate project goals into project tasks. Define the nature of the stated business or technical problem.
• Anticipate future problems, resolve current issues, and adjust based on prior results.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline appropriate to the project environment
• Experience in Project Management.
• Recognized technical skills and judgment appropriate to the project discipline.
• Basic working knowledge of Project Management tools and processes.
• Prior Project Management experience

Preferred

• MS/MBA degree
• PMP certification
• Experience with Design Controls

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
