Our Des Plaines, IL site has an opportunity for a Senior Specialist Project Management in its R&D Clinical Assay- PMO team
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- The Senior Specialist Project Management will manage one or more projects with moderate complexity.
- Expedite, manage, and coordinate a multitude of interrelated activities within constraints of limited human and financial resources and changing priorities. Complies with quality system.
- Recognize the broader implications of actions and proposals on the final project outcome
- Prepare and present project progress reports to keep management and team informed. Identify problems and work to resolve them.
- Analyze date for true causes of problems
- Coordinate input from multiple areas or multiple project managers on related projects.
- Develop project objectives and strategies, develop timelines and milestones. Utilize project scheduling software to plan
- and track projects. Develop design and development plan.
- Identify resource requirements, cost, and time schedules. Develop an implementation plan, conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to accommodate unforeseen events.
- Translate project goals into project tasks. Define the nature of the stated business or technical problem.
- Anticipate future problems, resolve current issues, and adjust based on prior results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline appropriate to the project environment
- Experience in Project Management.
- Recognized technical skills and judgment appropriate to the project discipline.
- Basic working knowledge of Project Management tools and processes.
- Prior Project Management experience
Preferred
- MS/MBA degree
- PMP certification
- Experience with Design Controls

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
