The Senior Specialist, Medical Affairs Operations is a vital member of the Medical Affairs team who will help build out the infrastructure for the department and serve as a critical connection between medical strategy, tactical execution, and day-to-day operations.We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and resourceful individual for the Sr Specialist, Medical Affairs Operations position. This role will be part of our a high-performing global Medical Affairs team and will help to turn our department's aspirations a reality. Key aspects of this role include supporting the overarching Medical Affairs tactical plan, business management (contracting, budgeting, and vendor management), logistical support of large medical congresses, advisory board meetings, project management of key initiatives, managing medical systems, and responsibility for monthly dashboard. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player with effective communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
Oversee Medical Affairs department budget to ensure alignment with annual operating plan with Finance team; proactively monitor spend to ensure that budgets are managed to target.
Coordinating with all Medical Affairs functional areas to manage the overall Medical Affairs tactical plan.
Manage vendors and consultants as needed including creation of purchase orders and execution of contracts.
Coordinate internal and external meetings in partnership with medical teams, including supporting execution of compliant Advisory Boards and meetings at scientific congresses.
Provide project management support to high priority long term projects within Medical Affairs.
Support Medical Affairs with launch readiness activities.
Oversee Medical Affairs processes to support team needs, raise overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Help prepare monthly and quarterly reports on Medical Affairs progress to goals and objectives.
Support the development and maintenance of SOPs, work instructions, and other procedural documents.
Training new and existing team members on internal systems
Create cloud-based filing structure for medical documents.
Working closely with the program management team and other departments leads to ensure medical timelines and assumptions are up to date.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
Understanding of other functions relevant to the position such as, Clinical Development, Commercial, Compliance and Regulatory
Proven ability to successfully work independently to manage multiple ongoing projects/workstreams and follow tasks through to completion.
Experience developing work instructions, SOPs, and other various process documents.
Experience with detailed meeting logistics planning
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and self-motivated to drive for results.
Strong business acumen, critical thinking, along with technical and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive working in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
Ability to travel (10-20%)
Preferred location - San Franisco Bay Area, with ability to be onsite 1-3 days a week.

Preferred Skills, Experience and Education:
Bachelor's Degree required, scientific or clinical degree preferred.
2+ years' experience in a Healthcare/pharmaceutical/biotech related company

Revolution Medicines currently requires that all personnel and visitors to its offices be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The expected salary range for this role is $95,000 to $120,000. An individual's position within the range may be influenced by multiple factors, including skills and experience in role, overall performance, individual impact and contributions, tenure, and market dynamics. Base salary is one part of the overall total rewards program at RevMed, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.
