Eurofins Technologies is a new International Business Line (IBL) within the Eurofins Group focused on the development, manufacturing and marketing of bioanalytical technologies and diagnostic test kits in particular. The business if primarily focused on solutions in Food Safety and Environmental Safety but has recently expanded into Animal Health and Clinical Diagnostics. Eurofins Technologies serves both external customers (industrial laboratories, governmental laboratories, service laboratories) as well as customers within the Eurofins Group.
- Develop strong understanding of software functionality through utilization of available documentation (e.g., User Requirements, Product Backlog Items, Module Functional Definition, SOPs) and collaboration with software Business Process Owner, Product Owner, Business Analyst, etc.
- Demonstrated strong experience and knowledge of laboratory testing operations. Familiarity with common operational processes, use cases, analytical terminology.
- Design Global Training Materials, as required for Software Implementation and optimizing system use by the business.
- In collaboration with local Project Managers and management, evaluate current business processes and identify changes necessary due to the impact of the new software.
- Provide consultation based on Lean concepts.
- Promote software to maximize business value.
- Promote harmonized business practices.
- Fully committed to quality and regulatory (e.g. GMP) compliance.
- Provide a program plan for organized and achievable Software Implementation. Provide a global template, then collaborate with local Project Managers to design detailed project plans.Facilitate process/software change. Work within the BPT IT Solutions Change Control process, and facilitate change management/change acceptance. Relationship with the business balances between realistic/empathetic and challenging.
- As software is adopted, provide surveillance to ensure intended use of the software.
- Provide support and consultation to local Project Manager/Leads in the case of end user questions.
- On an as-needed basis, lead or participate in Training Sessions or Subject Matter Expert Workshops to promote the software and provide consultation.
- Provide accountability to maintain timeline commitments for software deployment.
- Routine meetings and close, active support for initial implementation plus additional templates.
- Consistent follow-up to ensure progress through 100% target implementation (e.g. bi-weekly).
- Consistent follow-up to ensure continuing success and value post-100% (e.g. monthly, quarterly).
- Quickly escalate at-risk deadline miss or issues of quality/regulatory non-compliance.
B.S. Science, Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent degree
- Minimum of 5 years in Laboratory Operations and Testing
- Should have been part of at least 1 implementation of an electronic laboratory notebook, preferably within Eurofins
- Strong communication skills
- Good listener, and engaging team members
- Effective speaking and written skills
- Strong leader/presenter/confident
- Update SOPs and Training Materials, and create/distribute Release Summary document with each major software release.
- All implementation and training materials are maintained

- Travel for on-site visits 1-2 weeks/month (overall average ~25% travel)
- Some flexible scheduling to support conference calls in various time zone.
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Some weekends and holidays required.
