Salesforce, Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer in Bellevue, WA:

Job Duties : Design, implement, and support features. Provide technical leadership and contribute to key projects in design, development and live site excellence. Architect, design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable products. Lead and contribute to key projects in design, development, and post-release support of platforms, data frameworks, and validation tools. Collaborate on building large scale distributed services across all core areas of the Customer Data Platform covering data ingestion, big data management, big data processing, analytics/insights, profile graphs, segmentation, and activations. Own end to end pipelines from development through production and support. Operate effectively in the hybrid engineering model where engineers design and execute the necessary work to ensure quality in their own code as well as other engineers. Deliver high-quality infrastructure automation tools, frameworks, workflows, and validation platforms that help Salesforce scale infrastructure to meet the demand. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, and write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. Master the development process, culture, and code base, then improve it. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements : Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the field of Software Engineering/program analysis or three (3) years of experience in the job offered.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements : (1) Object Oriented Programming; (2) Relational Databases; (3) SQL; (4) Distributed Systems; (5) OS internals; (6) Web Services; (7) Performance tuning; (8) Git; (9) Python and Java; (10) Data Migration; and (11) Job Scheduler. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary : $155,418.00 - $211,000.00 per annum.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,418 to $211,000.
