Our Engineering team is growing rapidly and we are looking for developers with a passion for building high-quality software, growing teams, and fostering a culture of innovation. Our Engineering org works in close partnership with Product, Data, UX, Sales, and Marketing - our focus is on iteratively developing software with a collaborative process and mindset, in an inclusive open environment that fosters and facilitates new ideas and thinking.
Job Requirements:
This is a senior-level position requiring 6+ years of professional experience. As a Senior Software Engineer, you should be comfortable writing and reviewing high-quality code, making foundational and architectural decisions, setting paradigms, pairing with other developers and providing mentorship and guidance, introducing new ideas and solutions, and helping improve the overall functionality, performance, and quality of the platform. You will be working with a technology-savvy team, so candidates eager to exercise and grow their leadership, mentorship, and architecture skills will fit in perfectly.
- 5+ years of prior professional experience in software development with the above technologies
- Prior management or mentoring experience of Engineers
- Experience with React, Redux, TypeScript, NodeJS, Rest, GraphQL and Storybook
- Strong React experience building a complex multi-layered application
- Solid understanding of designing and building REST and GraphQL API's
- Deadline and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Eager to work closely and collaborate with the larger team
- Refactoring and writing clean, concise, high-quality, testable, scalable code
- Oversee and pair with other developers to read, review, and provide feedback
- Work closely with the technical leads, product and project managers, and the UX team
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
- Produce high-quality output using an agile methodological approach
- Help foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment
Nice to Haves:
- NoSQL, SQL, Lambda, JWT based Authentication, DevOps
- Design Libraries, 3rd party API Integration, AWS Services
- Unit testing, E2E testing, UI Testing, CI/CD
- MongoDB and processes

Compensation Package:
The total compensation package is made up of base compensation, equity, and benefits
New York Pay Range: $150,000 - $180,000
