Senior Social Strategist
Location: Nashville, TN or Remote

The Position
A storyteller by trade, the Senior Social Media Strategist is a strategic visionary who architects and directs social media strategies for large national and local healthcare brands. You have extensive experience (5+ years) leading social media initiatives for brands, and you know all social platforms like the back of your hand-including the up-and-coming ones. You know what works and what doesn't for businesses on social media and can build creative social marketing plans for B2C and B2B clients, with both small and large budgets. You're passionate about predicting the future of social and educating clients and co-workers about the nuances of each platform.
Most importantly, you are a maker. You love creating award-winning, case study-worthy work. You're obsessed with moving clients to cutting-edge social media presences. You've been a pioneer of growing social teams in the past. Your colleagues count on you to keep them updated with TikTok's latest-and-greatest developments, and revel in your hot takes on how brands should take advantage of new features.
Moreover, you have a passion for health brands and healthcare and believe that social media can change the world in a positive way. From tackling health misinformation, to helping physicians form a presence on social media, to creating content that changes lives, you are ready and equipped to use your social skills for the betterment of society.
The ideal candidate will have experience creating social strategies, campaign plans, influencer programs, paid social media plans, and original content for platforms like Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc. But your strategic mind doesn't stop there. You connect the dots between social channels and all marketing initiatives, from .com to community programs to MarTech and beyond.

The Responsibilities
Includes, but not limited to the following:
  • Leads the creation of social strategies and campaign plans as the 'face of the team' to clients across regional and national healthcare brands (hospitals/health systems, health technology companies, and health services)
  • Leverages social media to perform audience research and identify insights-understanding the makeup of a social audience, interests, content consumption behavior, etc.Performs social audits, audience analyses, social listening, and competitive audits
  • Creates and manages influencer programs-from identifying influencers to vetting, briefing, and reporting
  • Crafts original content including post copy, video scripts, and image ideas (working with designers to bring ideas to life)
  • Works with Analytics to identify what is working and what isn't, build performance dashboards and reports for clients, and constantly optimize social creative, targeting, and channel mix to reach objectives
  • Creates and executes paid social media plans and buys across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube and collaborates with paid media partners to integrate social with overall media plans/buys
  • Collaborates with the team to establish social capabilities and thought-leadership for Revive, educating the agency and clients about social media best practices
  • May manage team members with multiple skill levels, and lead teams at the project level across disciplines
  • Advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion in all programs, from diverse influencer representation and pay equity, to social campaigns built specifically for diverse audiences

The Essentials
  • 5-7+ years of experience in social media marketing
  • Agency experience working with national and local/regional brands as well as small and large budgets
  • Deep understanding of channel behavior across all social platforms, from Instagram to Reddit to BeReal to Nextdoor and beyond
  • Experience with healthcare organizations is preferred, but not required (e.g., hospitals/health systems, health tech, health and wellness brands, etc.), including both B2C and B2B programs
  • Close relationships with social platforms/reps (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Doximity, etc.) and vendors (e.g., Sprinklr, Social Native, etc.)
  • Social analytics experience, reviewing performance data from Facebook Analytics and other platforms, and creating optimization recommendations
  • Passion for and experience with primary and secondary research, including tools such as comScore, eMarketer, Simmons/MRI, Audiense, WARC, etc.
  • Experience building and executing influencer programs, including working relationships with influencer networks / platforms such as CreatorIQ, Collectively, IZEA, etc.
  • Social listening experience with tools such as Talkwalker, Netbase Quid, Brandwatch, etc.
  • Robust experience creating paid social media plans (Facebook Blueprint certified preferred)
  • Experience with social publishing and community management, using tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, etc.
