Senior Scrum Master

The Senior Scrum Master must be able to meet the key criteria below:

1. Location: 100% remote
2. Years' Experience: 8+ years
3. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or IT related field
4. Security Clearance: IBR is a federal contractor. Applicants must be able to meet the requirements to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance. NOTE: United States Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
5. Work Authorization: Must show that applicant is legally permitted to work in the United States.
6. Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
7. Key Skills:
   • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification required.
   • Demonstrated experience has a Scrum Master.
   • Experience working with Agile and SAFe methodology.
   • Experience adhering to SDLC processes.
   • Experience focusing on business architecture analysis and UI/UX design.
   • Experience building process models, writing acceptance criteria, and designing user interfaces for a production system.
   • Experience leading teams.

Overview
Do you want to help build a portfolio of next-generation mobile-enabled data collection systems and enterprise portals? As a Scrum Master at IBR, you will support the Agile based engineering of a robust, secure, and scalable enterprise solutions hosted in AWS. This position will work closely with the solutions delivery team to supporting the operations team performing Deployment, Systems Integration Testing, and Operations & Maintenance activities.
Responsibilities

• Development and Grooming of Product Backlog through coordination with Product Owners.
• Management of Sprint Backlog through key scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily standup.
• Creation of user stories and epics using Agile project tools such as JIRA and Gitlab.
• Ensuring daily activities are in accordance with Scrum Process and best practices are adhered to
• Coordinating with other team members to work action items, handle issues, and track/remove blockers
• Reacting to change and communicating to both members of the team and stakeholders
• Coach team members on the agile process to help clearly understand product scope and vision.

Qualifications

• Must have 8+ years of professional experience.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

• Software Background to understand Technical Details from each team at a foundational level.
• Demonstrated experience has a Scrum Master.
• Experience focusing on business architecture analysis and UI/UX design.
• Experience building process models, writing acceptance criteria, and designing user interfaces for a production system.
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Process (SDLC).

• Experience with Agile and SAFe Methodology.
• Experience leading Software Development teams.
• Ability to coordinate with others.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability to remove roadblocks.
• Knowledge of Agile project tools such as JIRA and Gitlab.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification required.

Physical Demands
Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for manipulation of keyboard and mouse.
Work Environment
Work is performed primarily indoors at a well-lit office environment. The environment is normally air conditioned, but conditions may change dependent upon circumstances. Work may need to be performed in a fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and rapid judgements. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of clients in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
