Scope:

This position will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of access controls and security for all SAP and other Software applications used at Smith & Wesson, as well as to define, implement and support security administration, access control policies and procedures and manage privileged access controls. Will require both technical level experience and ability to interface with all levels of users and will require user support as needed. Will support internal and external audit inquiries and be an integral part of the SOX 404 program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Requires basic knowledge of SAP Security concepts and administration as well and good understanding of internet security, Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange and cloud base security systems.
• The candidate will support a variety of SAP functional environments and other non-SAP applications, working directly with the client and other staff to maintain and support the client's production and test/dev System landscapes.
• Responsibilities would include design of SAP security strategy according to customer requirements and SAP best practices.
• Design of Application security strategy according to best practices on the IT industry for on premise and cloud-based applications.
• Must be able to support and administer SAP security of SAP environments (ECC, BI, EP, XI/PI, GRC, other software applications as required) and troubleshooting system authorization problems.
• Must be able to support network access controls as well as messaging and cloud services. Duties include the creation of roles, profiles, user ID's and custom authorization objects.
• The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with the client and various support organizations. Experience with SAP XI/PI, Portals, BI and GRC security is desired.
• Must be detail oriented and have demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks, deliver on schedule, understand and manage priorities and raise risks/issues on a timely basis.
• Excellent client interaction and communication skills (written and verbal). Must be able to facilitate meetings to gather requirements and present solutions Requires basic experience managing and supporting SAP GRC for privileged access control and documentation and system administration.
• Assist with application and user support as needed as needed. Be comfortable in the use of a Service Desk applications and the ITIL methodology

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field is desired
• 3 years of experience in SAP Security Analysis and SAP Technical Administration or support 5 years of experience in IT security managing access controls for multiple applications
• 3 years of experience in SAP Security within ECC, BI/BW, SAP Portal, GRC 5 years of experience in Microsoft Security models. AD, Exchange, other

• Must demonstrate fluency in the English language

Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment:

• Within any of our facilities, employees may be exposed to manufacturing noise, airborne liquid chemicals, fine particulate dust, ambient temperatures, and industrial lighting. Work environment is similar to most manufacturing and distribution operations. May be exposed to excessive noise, temperatures, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, work in confined quarters, exposure to vibrations and shop lighting, continuous exposure to hot temperatures, may be humid, odors, dust, continuous exposure to mechanical hazards, and occasional exposure to chemical hazards.

• Safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection required when on manufacturing floor
