Sr. Sales Operations Analyst

Position Overview

The Sr. Sales Operations Analyst will be part of Cast & Crew's Business Planning & Insights team and will report to the Director, Sales Operations. The Sr. Sales Operations Analyst will be the primary business owner for quarterly volume forecasting, Sales pipeline tracking, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) workflows. They will work closely with stakeholders across the company (including Business Planning & Insights, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and Executive Leadership) to build, streamline, and improve these processes.

The Sr. Sales Operations Analyst will play a transformational role in implementing our long-term CRM roadmap which will enable all teams at Cast & Crew to operate and collaborate more efficiently and effectively. They will also play a pivotal role in compiling, analyzing and interpreting Sales data to enable day-to-day Sales efforts as well as strategic growth decisions across all core markets (film, television, streaming, live entertainment, and advertising). The ideal candidate will have sharp analytical skills, passion for the entertainment industry, and eagerness for a highly visible role with growth opportunities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive quarterly volume forecasting process across all Cast & Crew markets, leveraging Sales and senior leadership input.
  • Build forecasting models that incorporate historical volume trends, market intelligence data, Sales pipelines, and CRM data.
  • Regularly manage, update, and analyze Sales pipelines across all markets to provide senior leadership with new business development updates.
  • Work closely with client-facing teams to gather business requirements for CRM workflows and other Sales enabling tools.
  • Partner with CRM admin teams to build/test new workflows, automations, reports, and dashboards to strengthen sales efforts and strategic planning, enable collaboration with other teams, streamline forecasting, and create visibility for senior leadership.
  • Educate and train Sales, Customer Success, and other CRM end-users on new tools/functionality.
  • Continually validate CRM data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Develop and measure Sales and Customer Success KPIs (win rates, churn rates, average deal size, $ in pipeline, client meeting cadence, etc.).
  • Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth and provide key insights for business leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare other analyses and participate in other special projects as requested.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve and/or automate processes.
  • Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Key Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in business, finance, economics, or another related technical field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Sales Operations in a B2B environment, or operational experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, or business insights / analytics roles.
  • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, shortcuts, VLOOKUPs, etc.), including proven experience building models, managing and summarizing large and diverse data sets, and performing analyses.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams to gather critical information and deliver data-driven analyses and recommendations.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Passion for the media/entertainment industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in or demonstrated understanding of the media/entertainment industry.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.

Special Work Conditions

  • Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.
Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
The compensation range for this position is:
$74,000—$90,000 USD
