About the Role:
Responsibilities
- Lead the onboarding of top fashion brands (domestically and internationally) within the category.
- Lead the consistent monitoring of the brand matrix and product assortment to identify all product gaps and opportunities for additional growth opportunities (brand/products) within the category.
- Lead all analysis and feedback needed as it relates to sales and identify and execute development and growth opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with the Marketing team to ensure all brands and products are featured and highlighted based on promos, discounts, exclusives..etc and ensure consistent sell-through of products.
- Master and understand all product trends, historical data, and departmental input at category/class level to manage business opportunities and risks.
- Work cross-functionally with the Brand Success team to ensure that all team members are prepped and have full visibility to brand businesses prior to any external communication.
- Work cross-functionally with the Operations/Purchasing teams to ensure all product and inventory needs are being met and managed properly, including the proper launch of new brands and products to our assortment(s) as well as manage sales, discounts, and strike-throughs.
- Work cross-functionally with the Sourcing team to ensure all brands and products are always merchandised and represented accurately on the front end of the app, including product images, pricing, descriptions, stacking/swatching needs, and more.
- Continually look to improve existing processes and procedures to streamline communication between internal teams and our external partners.
- Consistently execute competitor and industry-wide trend analysis.
Required Skills
- BA or BS Degree, with a minimum of 5-6+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skillsPrior experience in E-Commerce and Merchandising in Fashion is required.
- Prior experience in the Fashion industry is required.
- Very well-versed in Excel, all Google documents, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to build business relationships across departments and foster a culture of collaboration.
- Comfortability and ease with all external communication, whether written or verbal.
- Ability to multitask and know how/when to prioritize workloads.
- Very meticulous with attention to detail.
- Articulate and clear in all communication, both internally and externally.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working with multiple people/teams at once.
