Overview

FleishmanHillard, a global integrated communications agency is looking for a SeniorResearch Managerto join our True Global Intelligence (TGI) team. Location is flexible and this is a hybrid role based in one of our local offices. FleishmanHillard' s TRUE Global Intelligence practice serves as a strategic enabler to the broader organization by harnessing research and data-driven insights to achieve client business objectives. Our work within TRUE Global Intelligence integrates measurement, Primary Research and secondary research methods with advanced data analytics and strategic consulting.  

This positionwillfocus on primary quantitative and qualitative Primary Research and is ideal for someone interested in designing and executing research from start to finish.Candidates with experience in statistical analysis applicable to many types of data (survey and non-survey) are especially encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Act as project managerforPrimary Research projects. 
  • Capable of owning all aspects of the timeline and communicating accordingly with the client and colleagues. 
  • Design quantitative and qualitative research projects from scratch. Execute projects from beginning to end with some supervision. 
  • Manage vendors, field work, and data processing. 
  • Analyze data and qualitative research outputs to tell a story and provide strategic guidance based on your insights. 
  • Write research reportsand assist in proposal development 
  • Develop survey questionnaires and interview guides. 
  • Scope project requirements and communicate with vendors 
  • Be a subject matter expert in research who is able to apply best practices to a wide variety of research objectives and client industries. 
  • Oversee junior analysts' work on projects. 
  • The ideal candidate will be able to execute a mid-sized research project independently from proposal to completion within one year of employment. 
  • Cultivate diverse teams and contribute to an inclusive working and learning environment. 
Qualifications
  • Ability tojoin us in a hybrid model of working in-personweekly. 
  • 4-6+ years' total experience in quantitative and qualitative research, ideally in an internal corporate side or external supplier side role. 
  • 1-2 years of experience in qualitative research preferred 
  • 2-3 years of experience in research project management 
  • 2-3 years of experience in a client-facing role desired- a plus 
  • Experience in responding to RFPs, scoping research, and proposal writing desired. 
  • Experience overseeing junior analysts desired. 
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data a plus. 
  • Understands how research connects to business objectives. Understanding of advertising, public relations, digital marketing, or public affairs a plus. 
  • Knowledgeable about common research applications such as message development, creative testing, audience exploration, thought leadership, issues management. 
  • Previous work in B2B and B2C research conducted online, by phone, and/or in-person. 
  • Develop survey questionnaires and interview guides. Familiarity with quality assurance measures for data collection and reporting. 
  • Able to translatefindings into meaningful insights. 
  • Capable of setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and managing projects. 
  • Able to explain research to non-researchers. Great at presenting research findings in a compelling way. 
  • Able to manage 3-5 projects in various stages at the same time. 
  • Multitasker, curious, self-starter, proactive, problem solver, and ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and as a member of a team. 
  • Can succeed working remotely or in a hybrid setting. 
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word required. 
  • Experience with multivariate statistics and data analytics tools (such as R, Stata, SPSS, SAS, or Python) desired. 
  • Experience with moderating in-depth interviews, focus groups, and/or QualBoards; knowledge of thematic coding and content analysis.  
  • Experience in Decipher, Confirmit, or Qualtrics programming desired. 
  • Bachelor's degree required. A Masters is a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this position is$77,000.00 - $103,000.00. 

 

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off and/or other benefits also are available.
