What you'll do
As a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative and high-quality products and educating consumers on health and well-being. You will manage our labeling process, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations. You'll contribute to the success of our highly visible Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts, working closely with our Digital and Medical teams. You will regularly research current and emerging regulations and guidelines related to dietary supplements, staying up to date on industry trends and best practices.
Key responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain labeling for all direct-to-consumer products
  • Review SEO articles for compliance with applicable regulations and suggest alternative claims, ensuring all required information is accurately and clearly presented.
  • Assist in ensuring all regulatory documentation within the Care/of quality management system is accurate and up-to-date
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and assisting in the implementation of new regulatory strategies
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Take on additional, ad-hoc responsibilities as needed

Who you are
You have 2+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, strongly preferred within the dietary supplement or food industry. You have a strong knowledge of FDA and FTC regulations and guidelines. This role requires analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, food science, or a related field.
  • Organized, proactive, and self-motivated
  • Ability to prioritize work with overlapping deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey regulatory information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A team player with a 'no task is too small' attitude
  • You are driven and excited to partner with several different teams across Care/of

Nice to have:
  • Proficiency in Genesis and Asana
  • Passion for health and wellness

Where you'll be:
We are committed to prioritizing workspace flexibility by building systems to create an inclusive and productive environment in which employees feel most comfortable working (role permitting).
You will spend your time working in a hybrid working environment. You will be expected to work onsite at our Brooklyn, NY based office 2-3x/month with the option to work remotely the remainder of the time. The team is open to this role being fully remote, but there is a preference for this person to be in the NYC metro-area.
Salary & Bonus:
NYC Metro-Area Salary Range: $75,000-$80,000
Role Level: 2
Your compensation for this role will be based on how your experience aligns with our internal role-leveling, and our internal pay equity standards.
You will be eligible to participate in our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) which is a cash bonus. Our AIP rewards the achievement of both annual company and annual individual performance objectives. Each employee's target opportunity for an annual incentive award is a percentage of base salary and varies per role level.
* We have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
