We are seeking a highly motivated, forward-thinking Permanent Senior R&D Tax Credit Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and optimizing R&D Tax Credits for our organization while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to apply your specialized Tax Credit expertise in a fast-paced, innovative environment, where you will make a significant impact on our financial strategies.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and optimize the company's R&D Tax Credit portfolio, ensuring maximum benefits while adhering to all tax laws and regulations.
2. Provide strategic tax consulting services, advising on the impact of new laws and regulations on R&D Tax Credits.
3. Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize cash flow.
4. Conduct thorough research on various tax issues, providing accurate and timely information to management.
5. Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants, providing necessary documentation and support during audits.
6. Prepare detailed reports on Tax Credit activities, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
7. Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law that could impact the company's financial operations.
8. Collaborate with other departments to understand their R&D activities and identify potential Tax Credit opportunities.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on R&D Tax Credits and specialized Tax Credit.
3. In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly those related to R&D Tax Credits.
4. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic advice.
5. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
6. Proficient in tax software and other financial management tools.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
9. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
