General Summary
The Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer will manage varied quality activities in all semiconductor and component manufacturing operations from Wafer Fab, Assembly, and Electrical Test Screening through Qualification Testing. Focus areas may include Commercial products, Automotive products, Assembly processes, or Qualified Manufacturer Listing (QML) compliance.
Responsibilities
- Performs customer contract review
- Review and approve a variety of engineering documentation including, Customer Drawings, Assembly Drawings, Test Drawings, ATE Test Programs, Burn-In Circuits, & Sales Orders
- Reviews and records customer source control drawing for manufacturing capability
- Supports customer return material authorization (RMA, evaluation, and coordination)
- Drives or supports, Material, Technical, or Qualification Review Boards
- Participates in failure analysis activities
- Provides qualification conformance inspection/engineering support and disposition
- Handles non-conforming material review and disposition
- Use statistical process control & analysis techniques
Basic Qualifications
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar technical discipline
- Ideally 3 to 5 years of experience in a Quality role performing compliance and inspections in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge ISO 9001, Quality System Standard
- Working knowledge AS9100/AS9120, Aerospace Quality System Standard
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949-2016, Automotive Quality Management
- ASQC Certification is a plus
- Working knowledge of DSCC QML program is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with experience in all aspects of semiconductor component manufacturing
- Statistical sampling techniques
- Problem-solving techniques: 8D, Is/Is Not, 5 Whys
