NT Concepts is seeking a full-time Senior Proposal Coordinator/Editor. The Senior Proposal Coordinator/Editor reports directly to the Director Proposal Operations. The candidate must have a minimum of three years of experience supporting federal proposals through coordination, writing, and editing; understand how to read and interpret federal government solicitations; be detail-oriented, well organized, and a self-starter able to manage several concurrent tasks independently; and be experienced at leading RFI, Sources Sought, and White Paper responses. The candidate will interact with senior management, technical personnel, and external teammates to gather and organize material necessary for developing proposals.
Location: This is a HYBRID position offering a highly flexible telework arrangement. The ability to work in our Vienna, VA office as needed is required.
Clearance: Secret or higher level clearance is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Review RFPs/RFQs/RFIs to identify proposal requirements and develop storyboard templates, section outlines, compliance matrices, and proposal schedules.
- Lead RFI/Sources Sought/White Paper responses.
- Lead and/or participate in proposal touchpoint calls, color reviews, and lessons learned to capture feedback and action items.
- Reviews, organizes, and edits written information to improve clarity.
- Some proposal writing and coordination, content editing, proofreading and desktop publishing - the writing component of this role is primarily the non-technical portions of the proposal (i.e., cover letters, executive summaries, management/staffing plan, resumes, etc.)
- Coordinate final proposal document production (in print and/or electronic format), delivery, and delivery confirmation.
- Organize and coordinate proposal resources and ensure completion of all assignments, review of all work and adherence to internal quality control measures.
- Facilitate regular progress meetings with the proposal deal teams, while ensuring adherence to the established proposal matrix and schedule.
- Review and format all proposal drafts and final documents to ensure responsiveness, accuracy, and quality
- As needed, manage teammate/subcontractor data calls on prime opportunities.
- Other assignments as needed to fully support proposals and other related Business Development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field such as English, Business, Marketing, Communications.
- Minimum of three years in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of the Shipley Process for Capture and Proposal Development.
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong Editing and Desktop Publishing skills.
- Ability to keep a team, comprised of various functional areas and levels, on task.
- Ability to manage various projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
- Comfortable leading meetings and reviews both virtually and onsite.
- Skilled in formatting Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint documents
- Skilled in Adobe Acrobat Pro for creating PDFs and comparing and merging files.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams, with Vizio being a plus).
- Working knowledge of CRM/Salesforce strongly desired.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours when needed.
