Senior Project Manager - Due Diligence

We have an immediate need for a Senior Project Manager in our Orange County Office to manage and conduct a variety of Due Diligence projects.
The successful candidate will oversee, and when necessary, conduct various Due Diligence projects (Phase I environmental site assessments for vacant land, construction sites, retail, residential, industrial and commercial properties); prepare comprehensive reports for Clients; build and establish relationships with colleagues, project teams, and Clients; promote a positive attitude as well as a willingness to learn, adapt, and overcome challenges; develop their individual strengths and abilities to foster career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of assigned Due Diligence projects and, dependent on project size, lead teams of professional consultants in Due Diligence related work.
- Perform and prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and associated reports per ASTM E1527.
- Meet deliverable deadlines while managing multiple projects and/or clients.
- Communicate project status and overall workflow to clients and upper management.
- Determine physical needs to conduct work including building and roof access.
- Advise clients on physical equipment needs to effectively complete work.
- Travel throughout the region based on business needs with potential travel to other regions as directed.
- Assist or lead preparation of other project duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- College Degree (or equivalent Baccalaureate degree) in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Sciences or equivalent.
- Consideration will be given to candidates which have achieved an equivalent level of experience inclusive of related/similar project work and education in addition to coursework in pursuit or attainment of a related professional certification for qualification including, EP, PE, PG, PMP.
- A minimum of five years of experience performing Due Diligence work.
- Experience working at an environmental/Due Diligence firm preferred.
- Experience with Phase II Subsurface investigations and remediation preferred but not required.
- Experience with Property Condition Assessment's (PCA) preferred but not required.
- Experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Due Diligence projects preferred but not required.
- Experience performing environmental site assessments, including screening for the presence of asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, visual indicators of potential subsurface contamination, conducting on site interviews regarding environmental conditions, and summarizing all findings of the assessment in standard report format.
- Experience with client communication and expectation management throughout project life cycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; technical writing abilities are a plus.
- Valid US driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel required.
