Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Direct and manage large-scale projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with business needs and client expectations.
- Comprehensive Planning: Develop full-scale project plans, including charters, scope, deliverables, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with project sponsors, team members, and stakeholders to communicate expectations and drive project success.
- Resource Management: Negotiate with internal teams and external partners to acquire necessary resources and support.
- Scope Management: Manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans.
- Budget Oversight: Ensure the achievement of budget goals while tracking high-level deliverables across projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Close projects by gathering feedback, documenting lessons learned, and identifying best practices.
Skills and Experience:
- Project Management Expertise: 5+ years of direct project management experience, preferably in a retail environment.
- Agility: Thrive in environments that can be ambiguous with a passion for driving projects forward.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Smartsheet, experience with Jira and Lucid or similar process mapping software preferred.
- Change Management: Experience in change management with certification preferred.
- Collaborative Communication: Ability to communicate structured information clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Apply analytical skills to evaluate complex situations, identify opportunities, and drive process enhancements.
- Strategic Thinking: Understand trends and emerging challenges to focus project efforts effectively.
