Summary: Arlo has pivoted to a services first organization with the focus on providing great customer experience and value to Arlo subscribers. With our continued and increasing focus on services, Arlo recently launched its first service first product Arlo Safe and we're looking for a seasoned Product Manager to help drive our software experiences across Arlo's Safe and the existing Arlo Secure App to provide a world class experience and peace of mind to our customers. This role requires understanding of subscription based products and services, excellent cross-functional leadership, analytical thinking, creative mindset with a data-oriented approach to develop roadmaps and lead organization level programs in conjunction with services enhancements.
You are a product leader, a champion for customer experience and love diving into data to gather insights to convert ideas into programs and lead software design teams, IT, user experience, marketing, and customer support teams. You love rolling up your sleeves to work in a startup like environment to bring success to your programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the service solutions strategy for consumer safety products, Arlo Safe, product definition, and unique customer value proposition to drive customer acquisition and engagement.
- Conducting in-depth industry and user research, to gain a deep understanding of customer needs, and working with Arlo leadership to develop core product experiences.
- Defining and developing the product and product line strategy and roadmap
- Translate market needs into product capabilities, features, and directions.
- Write detailed actionable product requirement documents (PRDs) and user stories.
- Partner with key business, technical, and design stakeholders to develop the product roadmap.
- Drive and project manage initiatives End to End from inception to delivery.
- Develop and monitor SLAs and KPIs for product performance and strive for continued improvements.
- Coordinate global product launches with partners, marketing, sales, and management teams.
- Champion the customer needs and product purpose across the organization to gain buy-in and ensure cohesive strategy that drives customer demand and usage.
- Partner with finance, analytics, and data science teams to define and measure success and forecast product and business success.
- Cultivate an appropriate analytical framework, reporting, and tools to measure ROI and track effectiveness of all, product efforts.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management, product marketing, or technology leadership function for a leading consumer brand.
- At least 5 years of experience in the consumer Mobile app development field
- Prior experience in managing software roadmaps, responsibility for cross functional delivery and improving customer experiences.
- Prior experience and ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
- Experience driving customer needs through technology teams by working closing with engineering managers, and UX leads.
- Prior experience in creating business case for initiatives by working with management team, finance, technology, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of membership/subscription-based business model would be a plus.
