At Sight Machine, you will work with manufacturing leaders in the automotive, medical device, apparel, construction, and pharmaceutical industries. You will have access to, and work with massive amounts of factory floor data to help uncover insights on how customers make products and develop solutions to pressing business problems. The platform solves problems like Extract Transform Load (ETL), information retrieval, data aggregation and analytics, factory automation, distributed computing, and security.

About the role
At Sight Machine, we"re on a mission to revolutionize the industry by driving real-time production improvements that impact Quality, Availability, Performance, and Sustainability. We"re seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to take the lead on our Factory BUILD product line.
As the Product Manager for Factory BUILD, you'll be solving the most critical problem in working with industrial data, making it usable for daily operations and AI/ML ready. Factory BUILD enables manufacturing process experts and data engineers to bridge the physical process with the digital representation through a stream-processing data pipeline, purpose-built for manufacturing. You'll play a pivotal role in making this game-changing technology accessible to our customers directly.
What you"ll do
Drive the product roadmap and vision, crafting new features based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives.
Be accountable for key business goals like revenue growth, adoption, usage, and developer productivity.
Collaborate closely with customers, deeply understanding the needs of connectivity engineers and system engineers to create intuitive and delightful solutions.
Establish crucial integrations with strategic partners and cloud platforms.
Work seamlessly with our internal teams, including services, service integrators, and engineering, to make it all happen.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of product management experience in the SAAS realm, preferably with modern data products.
Proven track record in defining and delivering innovative products that balance customer needs with business objectives.
A strong commitment to delivering an exceptional user experience.
Deep technical acumen, with a solid grounding in technical fields like EE or CS, and bonus points if you have prior engineering experience.
Exceptional communication skills, able to collaborate effectively across diverse interest groups, from engineers to executives and external partners.
Well-versed in various SAAS deployment models, from on-premises to multi-tenant solutions.
Familiarity with modern data technologies such as Databricks and Snowflake.
The pay range for this role is:
175,000 - 200,000 USD per year(San Francisco)
