About this role

Transcarent serves millions of members across a variety of care experiences including urgent care, primary care, behavioral health, surgery, and more. Our mission is to create a new, better, and different experience in healthcare requires that we are able to accurately generate and submit claims information to comply with revenue cycle obligations.

We're looking for someone to join our product development team who wants to build incredible products that help make high quality affordable care available to all. As our company expands, so does our need to have a scalable and efficient claims processing pipeline. That's where you come in – we're seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to spearhead this initiative, identify opportunities for improvement, and then drive the roadmap to make it happen.


What you'll do
This is a high impact role within our Product team running one of our largest and most impactful areas of the business. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Defining the vision and roadmap for our company-wide claims generation and submission capabilities
  • Collaborating with your counterparts in Engineering and Design to develop and execute a high-velocity roadmap that delivers meaningful outcomes for the entire business
  • Working with sales and commercial teams as our subject matter expert for all things claims
  • Triaging and escalate issues that may arise related to the claims product area
  • Partnering closely with our engineering, analytics, data science, and data engineering team members to develop a comprehensive solution for generating claims information that can be leveraged across the business
  • Foster a collaborative and fun working environment

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven product management experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the health insurance space, especially as it relates to medical claims pricing, adjudication, and submission.
  • Experience working with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver great products
  • Natural curiosity supplemented by analytical thinking and a proclivity for using data to answer questions quantitatively.
  • A strong bias for decision-making and action. You are adept at synthesizing inputs and like to move fast.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and clinicians to drive the successful development and delivery of virtual care products. You make others feel understood and not just heard.
  • Individuals with humble attitudes that love solving hard problems.
  • A willingness to have a little fun along the way.

As a remote position, the salary range for this role is:

$150,000—$170,000 USD

Total Rewards

Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity.

Salary is just one component of Transcarent's total package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock options.

Location

You must be authorized to work in the United States. Depending on the position we may have a preference to a specific location, but are generally open to remote work anywhere in the US.
