Overview:

The Senior Product Designer at Wyze plays a crucial role in the design and development of innovative and user-centric products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • User Research and Analysis:

Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
Analyze data and insights to inform design decisions.

  • Conceptualization and Ideation:

Generate creative design concepts and ideas for new products or features.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define project goals and requirements.

  • Prototyping and Iteration:

Create interactive prototypes to test and iterate on design concepts.
Gather feedback from usability testing and incorporate it into the design process.

  • User Interface (UI) Design:

Develop detailed UI designs, considering usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other teams to align on project goals and timelines.
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.

  • Design System Contributions:

Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems.
Ensure consistency across products and features.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
