Job description

SAIC's Business Enablement represents the full depth and breadth of the acquisition value chain - from the sell side (customer engagement and strategy development) to the buy side (program execution, strategic alliances, supply chain management, subcontractor development, and material's procurement).  We are the full acquisition organization that supports our external and internal customer's mission. Our dynamic team of acquisition professionals support key business areas and strategy for SAIC's Growth Technology Accelerants (GTA) as well as core business initiatives. GTAs include Secure Cloud, Enterprise IT and Systems Integration & Delivery. Core business includes Engineering Services, IT & Technical Services and Logistics & Supply Chain.

 This position is 100% remote nationwide. 

Duties Include:

  • Develops, directs, plans and evaluates training programs or activities to meet external customer or internal employee learning objectives.  Assignments may include need analysis, custom course development, development of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of course objectives, and evaluation and learning assessments.  
  • Collaborates with customer or internal functional organization to develop, enhance and/or evaluate new or existing learning objectives and course content.  
  • May create course content, training materials, visual aids and documentation to support a variety of instructional formats such as lecture, computer-based training (CBT) and/or web-based training (WBT).  
  • May develop exam materials and may be responsible for testing and qualitative evaluation of participants attainment of learning objectives. Schedules, monitors, and evaluates training programs, assesses results, and implements enhancements as needed. It should be understood this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content; Manager sets the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee. 

Required Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience
  • Proficient knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation.
  • Prior experience with training and creating training curriculums
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong communications skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of staff, management and customers/vendors
  • Strong team player
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Exhibit critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Candidate must possess a positive and proactive attitude and ability to handle tasks simultaneously.
