SUMMARY:
This position will be a lead position. The primary duties will include maintaining price files ingredient specs and supporting ingredient assigned categories. Managing multiple system platforms to coordinate ingredient Material Numbers creation approval. Conduct category research for usage trends data accuracy etc. Analyze purchasing trends by category location division and aid to compile reporting tools to help the decision-making process. Collaborate with RFP Bid process development tracking system loading and execution. Help coordinate vendor management process approval insurance tax etc. Coordinate score carding process reporting for ingredient categories. Monitor development and update of Category Overviews for all ingredient categories. Assisting management with critical transactions needed to meet business requirements. Prepare reports to measure team performance and monitor workload; effective problem resolution. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities evaluating results and coordinating with others.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 3 plus years experience in clerical/administrative position with procurement/purchasing type experience preferred
Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills; SAP experience preferred; Microsoft Office applications proficiency required with advanced skills in Excel.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. The individual must be able to communicate with all levels within the organization. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will not have direct reports.
