Senior Process Engineer- Direct Hire

Our client is a chemical manufacturer in Louisville, KY and is looking to add a Senior Process Engineer to their team. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to maintain production quality and drive projects for cost, quality, and capacity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performance management and monitoring of ongoing production at tollers
• Achieving capacity and maintaining product quality at toll manufacturers
• Accountable for the inventory cycle counts that are executed according to the current work instructions
• Provides input to procurement for contract negotiation and contract management in cases of deviations (quality, safety, yields, rates, inventory)
• Drives projects for cost, quality, and capacity improvements at toll manufacturers
• Responsible for BOM builds, maintenance and production reporting at the tollers
• Drives continuous improvement projects in coordinating internal stakeholders and tollers
• Understands the tolled manufacturing processes and communicates toller capabilities to stakeholders
• You will coordinate with the supply chain on production route selection

Job Requirements:

• Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent is an advantage
• Seeking 3+ years of experience in production or product development, within Chemical manufacturing would be a plus
• Experience in project management and SAP knowledge preferred
• Thorough understanding of catalyst manufacturing processes preferred
• Focus on high quality and adherence to on time delivery of products that meet our quality specification
