Your Responsibilities
Support the Chief Privacy Officer in managing the privacy program, including assisting with enforcing policies, standards, and procedures.- Remain current with US and international privacy laws, including interpreting privacy laws and applying them to our environment.
- Distill complex privacy concepts into clear, understandable guidance.
- Advise business units, internal and external legal teams, information security team, Technology group, our Project Management Office, and other functional groups regarding US and international data privacy requirements and practices, to include helping formulate solutions that incorporate privacy requirements while realizing business needs.
- Assist with contract reviews as applicable to the privacy program.
- Coordinate/perform/lead documentation reviews (e.g., EU Records of Processing, EU Legitimate Interest, Data Protection Impact Assessments).
- Maintain the privacy awareness program, to include the creation and maintenance of associated metrics.
- Create and maintain data privacy audit records as needed.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred; or equivalent combination of experience and education- At least 7 years’ experience in a privacy role
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Proficient in the operation of website cookies/pixels
Your Team
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Chief Privacy Officer. You will be in a team of two and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Senior Privacy Analyst, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, Arizona or fully remote if not in the Scottsdale, Arizona area. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.
Right now, our associates in Scottsdale, AZ are working in a hybrid environment, up to four days per week in the office and working virtually the remaining days. We provide flexibility and encourage ongoing communication with your leadership to establish expectations about your unique needs.
