Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Senior Principal Project Management and Principal Project Managementto join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain organization. This position is located onsite in Redondo Beach or Palmdale, California.
This position is seeking a highly motivated, strong communicator to join the Global Supply Chain Program Management. This position will be in fast-paced, un-classified and classified environment. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects on behalf of GSC Program Management and serves as liaison between Project Management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. This position will require gathering data from systems and preparing PPT slides to present to leadership teams.

Key responsibilities include:
- This position requires the ability to lead projects cross functionally between IPTs, engineers, CAMs, Subcontract buyers, general procurement buyers, goods movement, logistics, production control. The applicant will have experienced/knowledge in these functions in order to drive actions and solutions
- Candidate must be an independent self-starter able to work with multi-disciplined teams to analyze and solve problems and meet customer needs/contractual requirements
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Manage earned value reporting for various cost accounts
- Manage risk and issues for the grater GSC team
- Support functional and program leadership briefings
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have 6 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, logistics, subcontracts, contracts management, proposal price/cost analysis with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters (Level 3)
- Must have 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, logistics, subcontracts, contracts management, proposal price/cost analysis with Bachelors; 8 Years with Masters (Level 4)
- Must have experience using SAP
- Must have the ability to obtain an DoD Secret level clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excel and PowerPoint experience
- Aerospace background
- Supply chain, cost mgmt. or CAMs
- CAM Certified
- Experience in Teamcenter, MS SharePoint, MS Project, JIRA, MS Excel, data analytics from SAP back tables, Manfacturing Execution System
Salary Range: $86,300.00 - $129,500.00Salary Range 2: $107,000.00 - $160,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
