The purpose of the Moody's Ratings Pricing Team is to lead and manage the fee setting, implementation, and exception processes that deliver on commercial, financial, regulatory and operational objectives, while advancing the customer experience.


The Role

  • Support the annual Moody's Ratings fee setting process by providing analytical and administrative support.
  • Contribute to the global fee simplification initiatives by working with the regional pricing lead to explore opportunities, and analyze potential revenue, customer, and market impact.
  • Assist Relationship Managers and other stakeholders with inquiries related to fee logic, quoting, pricing exceptions and other day-to-day activities.
  • Assist with enhancements to fee schedules and fee rules / fee logics
  • Create and maintain procedure and process flow documentation.
  • Follow-up on unresolved issues by proposing and leading meetings with senior stakeholders to reach solutions.
  • Other responsibilities will include support for management reporting, process improvement, and more.

Qualifications :

  • Undergraduate degree in a Finance discipline. Graduate degree preferred but not required.
  • 2-5 years of relevant job experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Financial modeling skills preferred.
  • Candidate should have strong analytical, problem solving, and communication (both verbal and written) skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in a large-scale implementation project is a plus.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$65,000 - [[$94,250, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
