Job Description

The HR Analytic Product Development team is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to join this fun, creative, and expanding team. The goal of this team is to ensure timely, accurate, and relevant data & insights for leaders about their workforce that allows them to make informed, fact-based strategic decisions to attract, develop and/or retain top talent. We are an integral part of helping our leaders grow their business through their talent. This is an enterprise role, responsible for leveraging HR data for developing reporting and analytic products to be leveraged across all lines of business.

Responsible for very complex reporting and dashboard projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data, performs in depth analysis, interprets results, and delivers actionable insights and recommendations for use across the company for customer and employee populations. This position is also responsible for presenting data and analysis in a clear and concise manner allowing the audience to quickly understand the results and recommendations, so they act upon them and make data driven decisions.

Location: Position is hybrid in posted locations. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically has five to seven years of data analysis experience

  • Typically has five or more years of experience as a Power BI Developer understanding core aspects for importing data, manipulating data, data modeling, table relationships and DAX, building visualizations and reports, and other analytical features

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Three or more years of experience with SQL or other BI tools for querying data and for data manipulation/transformation

  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets for insights

  • Ability to develop and maintain strategic partnership with Senior Business unit management, business partners and project sponsors, as well as communicate effectively with business, and development teams, end users, and product owners

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Strong organization and project management skills

  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Experience in financial services, with thorough knowledge of HR systems or financial services products, customers, transactions, and interaction data

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00
