Job Description
Basic Purpose
Pool Managers are responsible for supervising and scheduling Pool Attendants, maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized pool area, assisting guests, and ensuring that all pool regulations are followed.
Pool Manager Daily Duties

• Sweeps, dusts, mops, scrubs, washes, vacuums, waxes, and polishes building floors, walls, woodwork, windows, furniture, equipment, and hardware.
• Checking in guests to the pool/splash pad area and verifying guests' accommodations.
• Responsible for filling in when scheduling issues arise.
• Responsible for ensuring pool is vacuumed and filters cleaned at least once a week.
• Manages concession inventory keeping it updated and stocked.
• Pool and splash pad area is kept in a clean matter, includes around the pool house and restrooms.
• Monitors safety of guests and pool/splash pad facilities; responds to injuries/illness, applies first aid, if needed, and contacts medical services for assistance as needed.
• Concession skills, such as selling, making correct change, and keeping an updated inventory.
• Responsible for opening the pool on time daily.
• Assigns opening and closing duties to attendants.
• Checks all safety equipment weekly and advises management of needed replacement.
• Responsible for testing pool for appropriate chemical levels-up to four times a day and maintaining the testing log on a daily basis.
• Ensure lost and found items are collected delivered to and labeled in accordance to lost and found procedures. Storage facility is located in the laundry building.
• Assist with scheduling.
• Any other duties as direct by department head or general manager of the property.

This is a leadership position where employees will be assigned responsibilities including the supervision and scheduling.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required at this level include knowledge of recreational, athletic and group work principles and techniques; of the fundamentals and rules of common sports; and of first aid treatment techniques.
Special Requirements
Some positions may require shift work on rotating basis, including nights, weekends and holidays.
