We are currently seeking a Senior Platform Engineer (Kubernetes / OpenShift) to join our team in IRVING, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing ‘Platform Experience system’ for private cloud computing infrastructure.
- Defining strategy and developing infrastructure to support application developer in a private cloud ecosystem.
- Working in collaboration with the clients and subject matter experts to understand their requirements.
- Must be able to design and develop distributed systems.
- Experience in OpenShift and /or similar cloud-native platform
- Experience of working on distributed systems using container systems such as Kubernetes.
- Must have a strong understanding of Microservices and Cloud Technologies.
- Must also have adequate knowledge of Linux software packaging, distribution, and configuration.
- Must also have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in managing modern operational roles like Site reliability engineering (SRE) and DevOps.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Kubernetes
- 1-3 years of experience in OpenShift
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experience
Nice to Have; (But not a must)
- Experience in one or more JavaScript library like ReactJS
