Senior Planning Catman Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Senior Planning CATMAN ConsultantAs a Senior Consultant, you will be involved in solution design. You will do Fit Gap Analysis, Design, and complete implementation. You will carry out Development/upgrade/support tasks as assigned. You will Liaise with business users/client managers/ specialists to understand the requirements / problem statements. You should Suggest and validate various solution options for the requirements. You will Coordinate/conduct testing or release management activities.
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years experience in Information Technology
• The location for this position is Bridgewater, NJ. This position may require travel and /or relocation

Preferred Qualifications

• Should be an expertise in JDA Category Management Suite includes (JDA Space Planning, JDA Floor Planning, JDA CKB, Open Access, Assortment Optimization, Space Automation)
• Should have experience in VB Dot Net, ASP, PL SQL/SQL Server UNIX, and PL/SQL Programming
• Good understanding of Merchandising and Retail business functions
• Hands on experience in product configuration and business process mapping for space and floor planning
• Assortment Planning, Channel Clustering knowledge would be added advantage
• Should be handling Job Scheduling and Reporting
• Liaise with business users/client managers/ specialists to understand the requirements / problem statements and overall Implementation Landscape
• Ability to perform High Level solution design aligned with the requirements
• Suggest and validate various solution options for the requirements
• Take decisions independently and interact directly with customers and drive the solution till go live liaising with the key customers.
• Interact with Solution Architect and get involved into Design workshops, build Solution design
• GAP assessment in Requirements and feasibility/infeasibility clearly articulated to Clients.
• Preparing/Reviewing Solution/Functional Design/Detailed Design specs
• Experience in Writing Technical design documents and coding of solutions in .Net / PL SQL
• Coordinating with the customer & offshore team to resolve queries or clarifications
• Provide support for Project estimations and Solution leadership in the development / implementation project
• Strong analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting skills
• Should possess superb communication skills and having onsite experience will be a plus
• Ability to thrive in a constantly evolving, dynamic environment
• Knowledge on other JDA modules would be an added advantage
• Strong consulting attitude, exceptional client Interfacing skills
• Prior experience in leading implementation teams would be desirable
