You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget and schedule for assigned tasks, you’ll effectively recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will review vendor drawings, execute piping engineering design, and develop design estimates. Responsibilities: • Associate’s degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or similar technical degree Ideally, you’ll also have: #LifeSciences, #Bio/Pharma, #EPCMV, #globallifescience
• Responsible for assisting with the drafting/design effort on projects under supervision of Department Man******r and leading a group of designers on small/large capital projects
• Ability to perform project metrics/evaluations on performance goals/schedule goals within a specific project or tasks
• Gathers information, makes studies, performs calculations, and prepares ******al rough layouts and sketches to present design proposal
• At least 8+ years of piping design experience
• Advanced working knowledge of piping design in 2D/3D modeling software such as AutoCad or Microstation/S3D/Plant3D/CadWorx and Navisworks
• Interacts with ******al and client personnel
• Site work and periodic travel required
• Proficient use of AutoCAD software required
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Forward thinking, e******r to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
