SalaryAre you an experienced Phlebotomist or CMA? One of our clients based in Indiana is looking for a passionate experienced Phlebotomist to work with Medical and Behavioral Health professionals dedicated to addiction recovery and relapse prevention.
This position will be a full time Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch. This position may also require observed urine and blood collection.

Job Responsibilities:
- Customer Service – patient and client facing in an independent clinic setting. You will be representing the company to both the patients and the client. Excellent communication skills are a must.
- Be comfortable with independent/remote work and be able to interact with the Sales Team and Customer Service at the main laboratory.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards while working.
- Answer patient and client questions and provide useful information.
- Arrange daily activities based on the urgency of requests for samples.
- Keep accurate records on all samples and test requests.
- Identify patients and their personal information by ID’s, documents, or by other means.
- Ensure optimal quality and quantity of the specimens.
- Label samples correctly and process samples if required to be sent or delivered for testing.
- Reliable vehicle with current insurance.
- Flexibility with hours.
Skills:
- Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification with Phlebotomy training preferred.
- Determine the right venipuncture method for the most suitable site based on patient age, health, etc.
- Draw blood using sterile technique along with sterile needles, vials, and other suitable equipment. **This position may require observed urine and blood collection.**
- Ability to enter information and orders if applicable in a computer. Basic computer skills are a must.
- Must pay attention to detail.
- Ability to connect and communicate with several types of patients (i.e. children, teens, adults, elderly) and make them feel comfortable and relaxed.
- Knowledge of legal requirements with drawing and taking blood, urine samples, and the use of any relevant medical equipment and material.
