Senior Personal Injury Paralegal

The Law Office of Brandon White, PLLC is a small, but fast-growing statewide multi-practice law firm based in Gilbert, Arizona. We are seeking a Senior Personal Injury Paralegal for our Personal Injury Division who has a passion for assisting clients and their families who are injured because of someone else’s negligence with their Personal Injury cases/settlements.

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal who can hit the ground running to give our clients outstanding representation. Prior Personal Injury experience sufficient to manage cases from intake to settlement is required for this position. This role works hand in hand with an Assistant Paralegal and the Personal Injury Attorney in Personal Injury plaintiff’s work – mainly car/truck/pedestrian collisions.

The Job

• Assist Supervising Attorneys with consultations and screening potential new clients
• Prepare & Submit claim specific documents, including letter of representation and demands.
• Conduct legal research and investigation.
• Communicate with clients, police officers, witnesses, medical providers and insurance carriers
• Assist clients with handling their property claims and medical treatment
• Subrogation tracking.
• Organizing medical chronologies and requesting medical records and bills
• Draft settlement statements.
• Draft Complaints/Answers/Interrogatories/Discovery Requests
• E-Filing with Superior Court in Arizona.
• Assist attorney with preparing the client for deposition.
• Consistently document case status in the firm's case management system and communicate updates to clients.
• Track notes and time to client cases.
• Oversee and manage the workflow of the Assistant Personal Injury paralegal and other support division support staff, coordinating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with legal procedures and protocols along with firm policies and procedures.

The Essentials

• Min of 10 years of Personal Injury Experience (Plaintiff’s/motor vehicle related preferred)
• Skills and experience are important and valued, but your personality, character, intelligence, integrity and empathy for car accident victims are also extremely important considerations.
• High-maintenance, humorless, self-entitled, or self-important individuals will not succeed in this position and need not apply.

• We are growing, and you will be called upon to wear many hats. We need someone who does not think that helping another paralegal from another division or the occasional need to scan your own documents is “beneath you."
• This position requires initiative and the ability to adopt a client-focused philosophy during a traumatic time. Empathy is essential.

Salary

Salary is commensurate with skill and experience and is negotiable. We offer a generous benefits package including 401K (with matching), health insurance, dental insurance and paid time off. We also pay for approved continuing legal education.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Gilbert, AZ 85297
