Position: Senior Personal Banker
Job Overview
The Senior Personal Banker plays a vital role in ensuring outstanding team and client support, handling day-to-day service and operational needs, addressing digital banking inquiries, providing payment guidance, and resolving other client requests.
Responsibilities
Client Experience
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients in-person, digitally, and by telephone, addressing inquiries and providing prompt and accurate information on treasury products and services.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, servicing our business development team (Private Capital Managers) and clients, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve client issues related to digital banking platforms, payments, and other banking transactions.
Product Knowledge
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the features and benefits of the bank’s suite of deposit and treasury products and services to support client relationships and offer cross-sell opportunities to the sales team.
- Assist with the delivery of comprehensive product training to clients.
Day-to-Day Operations
- Develop a thorough understanding of the bank’s treasury and deposit operating systems to efficiently handle wire and ACH processing, reconciliation tasks, disputes, overdrafts, and other reporting tasks.
- Provide administrative support to clients and team members, including but not limited to account maintenance, document scanning, client verification, follow-up, safe deposit access, and check orders.
- Handle lobby transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Assist clients with digital banking onboarding, guiding them through the setup and usage of online banking, mobile apps, and other digital tools.
- Provide step-by-step instructions and troubleshooting support for clients navigating digital banking platforms.
- Assist clients with various payment-related inquiries, including fund transfers, bill payments, and transaction discrepancies.
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of relevant experience in banking operations, treasury operations, cash management, or related roles.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive client information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced branch environment.
- Proficient in using computers, software applications, and office equipment.
