Position Overview
Pantheon Data is seeking a PeopleSoft Financial Consultant/SME to work on a federal project alongside a growing team of engineers. A successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft 9.2 with proven experience implementing, supporting, and developing in a federal environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate and apply technical and functional expertise in PeopleSoft 9.2 in support of the financial program of a large government agency. You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with engineers as well as less technical team members (e.g., project managers, customers, executive teams).

Responsibilities
- Provide technical and functional knowledge and skills in PeopleSoft Financial 9.2.
- Support enterprise-wide application transformation efforts by understanding present-day application architectures and recommending equivalent PeopleSoft architectures where applicable.
- Analyze stakeholder user requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of PeopleSoft 9.2 modules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PeopleSoft Financial 9.2 modules.
- Work with team members, as needed, to scope, design, develop, test, implement, support, and enhance PeopleSoft 9.2 modules.
- Collaborate with project manager(s) and team members to architect new and optimize existing PeopleSoft solutions that solve implementation issues and exceed customer expectations.
- Communicate with project manager(s) to interpret customer requirements.
- Code and unit test application software
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years' experience implementing supporting modules in a PeopleSoft Financial 9.2 environment, preferably within a government deployment.
- Strong functional and technical expertise in one or more of the following PeopleSoft Financial 9.2 modules
- Significant experience in analyzing stakeholder requirements and translating them into functional/technical specifications.
- Strong federal accounting knowledge
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financial 9.2 configuration tools, such as PeopleSoft Application Designer, PeopleSoft Data Mover, and PeopleSoft Process Scheduler.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to PeopleSoft Financial 9.2 modules.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology
- JIRA/Confluence
- Hands-on experience in cloud transformation efforts
- AWS (Amazon Web Services), Microsoft Azure certification(s) a plus.
