Senior Pastor

Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Pastor to lead our congregation in Pueblo, CO. As the spiritual leader of our church, the Senior Pastor will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and pastoral care to our members. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:
- Preach and teach the Word of God during weekly worship services
- Provide spiritual guidance and counseling to individuals and families
- Lead and oversee church ministries, programs, and events
- Conduct baptisms, weddings, funerals, and other religious ceremonies
- Mentor and develop leaders within the church community
- Engage in community outreach and evangelism efforts
- Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to ensure effective ministry operations
- Manage church resources and finances in accordance with established guidelines
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members

Requirements:
- Ordained minister with a recognized Christian denomination
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Excellent public speaking and communication skills
- Proficient in Christian counseling principles and practices
- Knowledgeable in crisis intervention and management techniques
- Ability to educate and teach biblical principles effectively
- Experience in conflict management and resolution
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to pastoral care
- Ability to write sermons, articles, and other written materials
- Familiarity with hospice care principles (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
