Job Summary
Develops, coordinates and delivers training programs in multiple food manufacturing facilities. Partners with manufacturing leadership to build a curriculum that supports safety, quality and overall individual and facility performance. Regularly assesses gaps in these areas and adjusts training offerings as needed. Works with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure all training meets the requirements of the task and location. Fosters a learning environment by partnering with Continuous Improvement and drives results reflected in key Operational metrics. Responsible for maintaining accurate training records and ensuring that workers have completed required training.
What you need to be considered for the role:
- Bachelors Degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or other related field required.
- Four (4) or more years’ experience with individual and classroom training required.
- Ability to understand adult learning styles and ability to motivate others to learn.
- Ability to work with a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Ability to manage time and adapt work to production schedules as required.
- Ability to assess learning needs, create training courses and overall curriculum and facilitate high-quality training.
Preferred:
- Instructional Design or related Organizational Development (OD) certificate preferred
- Experience developing and delivering training in a technical/food manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of applicable OSHA regulations, GMPs, HACCP and SQF.
- Knowledge of Food and Beverage policies, work instructions, SOPs, and methods.
