What We Need
We are seeking a Senior Onboarding Specialist directly focused on Mid-Market and Enterprise customer implementations. The Senior Onboarding Specialist is directly responsible for driving successful implementations in a project management capacity, possessing exceptional presentation skills and technical knowledge of the product to ensure our customers are set on a positive trajectory for success immediately after they choose to do business with us.
Most of the time spent within this position will be working with customers to deliver onboarding plans within a set implementation framework by conducting live training sessions, leading executive level status meetings and ensuring the implementation process is staying on target. The position requires a willingness to work cross functionally with both technical and customer facing internal teams to accomplish successful implementations at scale.
The average number of implementation projects vary on a monthly basis. The ideal candidate will be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organized project plans and keeping detailed notes in the company CRM system for future reference after the customer exits onboarding, ultimately ending in the hands of our Customer Success team.
What You'll Do
  • Execute on a standardized framework for a successful implementation while incorporating specific customer use cases into the project.
  • Lead live product trainings - often including multiple customer stakeholders
  • Problem Solve - Closely track project milestones and communicate any roadblocks with both the customer and internal team members.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted working relationships with customer project sponsors and power users
  • Manage projects utilizing internal tools that communicate the status of projects to internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain product expertise, including best practices to provide value to customers
  • Ensure the customer is "right-sized" with the correct subscriptions based on their needs - driving upsell opportunities when necessary
  • Plant seeds - Identify future opportunities within the account and document them for follow up by the Customer Success / Sales team later in the Customer Journey
  • Work with internal technical resources to ensure all custom integrations are configured properly upon go live
  • Document activities in our internal CRM and provide feedback for future implementations
  • Increase time to value for our customers upon initial purchase.
  • Influence future lifetime value through higher product adoption, customer satisfaction and overall NPS scores
  • Provide valuable feedback on enhancing the onboarding experience for future customers

Requirements
  • 3+ years of direct customer experience in a SaaS company required
  • 3+ years of experience with transportation/fleet related technologies preferred
  • Exceptional presentation skills with a focus on delivering clear and concise product demonstrations
  • Customer-first mentality; ability to empathize and build customer relationships
  • Excellent personal organization and problem-solving skills, with ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to self-start, prioritize, and multi-task
  • Unique ability to talk technical details and business strategy in the same conversation
